First of all, congratulations to the UT Sport Taekwondo team who competed at Brown University this weekend! We had three team members place:

Ben Frederick- 3rd
Andrew Lafferty- 3rd
AJ (Hasanain Jwair)- 1st

Ben Frederick who placed in the black belt heavy weight division will be able to move on to the National Collegiate Team Trials. Good job competitors!

UPCOMING EVENTS:

We will be selling snow cones at 40 Acres Fest on April 4th, so come on by to our booth to cool  yourself from the Spring heat with a refreshing, icy snow cone!

Even though National Collegiates is over, there are still competitions to look forward to. The team will continue to train hard on Tuesdays and Thursdays so come on by and have fun kicking with us! We will be preparing for the 2009 AAU National Qualifiers which will take place in Houston, TX on May 30th.

Finally…Spring! Time to enjoy the sun but don’t forget your snowcones!
